Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left for his heavenly abode on April 29 last year. This Thursday, today, marks the first death anniversary of the Angrezi Medium actor. Since morning now, many celebrities took to their social media to remember the late actor. On Irrfan Khan’s first death anniversary, actor Manav Kaul shared a picture of the late actor’s grave. He recalled the time when he met him last year. Kaul also spoke at length about all the times he met Khan.
On Instagram, Manav Kaul shared the picture of Irrfan Khan’s grave and wrote, “(last year ... when I went to meet him)” He then continued to talk of the time he came to Mumbai. Kaul said he had Irrfan Khan’s number and that it was because of him he got his first job in the city. Talking about featuring in Bannegi Apni Baat with Khan, Kaul shared all his scenes were with Irrfan. He shared some more details about that time. Manav Kaul heaped praise of Irrfan Khan’s acting and said, “Don't know what he used to do, just knew that his acting was different ... right from the beginning.”
He then spoke about his performance in Paastha and Maqbool. Manav Kaul said that when he saw Khan perform in Haider, he saw his hair grow up when the actor said “roodar”. The actor mentioned he saw Irrfan’s show ‘In Treatment’ and felt that he is no different. He then recalled his last meeting with the late actor during the Screen Award. Manav revealed that at the backstage of the event, he didn’t know what to say to the actor. Kaul revealed, he said, “Irrfan Bhai you look very beautiful.” Read the full caption below:
